Home Sweet Home: Powder Room

Our powder room design and choice of tiles and fixtures was assigned to hubby. It really made hubby's mind and pocket turn, It also consumed a lot of time considering that it's only 2.80 x 1.20 meters.
powder room is generally defined as a small bathroom that contains only a sink and a toilet. The powder room, which is also referred to as a guest bathroom or half bath, is usually located on the first floor of a home. This placement allows guests to use the facilities without having to trespass into the homeowner’s private space. Traditionally, powder rooms are very small. Often, they are often tucked underneath a stairway and do not have a window.
I computed all our purchases just for the Powder Room and i was astound by the total amount it cost us.

Architect's Drawing of the Powder Room
For the Wall
our design choice
White Horse Black (Php 175.00/30x60) and Guocera Gray (Php 165.00/30x60) Tiles - for front wall and flooring (approx Php 9,000)
Stone Age Wall Cladding - for left and right wall (Php 6,000)
Sanitary Wares
Onda Red Lavatory (Php 6,200)
Kohler Faucet (Php 8,166.40)
Pozzi Urinal (Php 3,000)
Imex Arco Urinal (Php 6,500)
Imex Arco Water Closet (Php  12,500)
Our powder room fixtures purchases already amounted Php51,000+...yet it's still not complete. We still need paints, hanging basin cabinet, ledges, T5 lights, pebbles, accessories, plus hubby is now considering to put a hand dryer. Gosh...isn't a bit luxurious for a simple family, like ours?. But i cant blame him, because he works hard for the money, i bet he's just rewarding himself.
