nüvi® 1260T Sat Nav

Yesterday hubby called me to inform me that he can't fetch me due to his busy sched and numbers of appointments including his rotary. It's fine with me because I'm used to riding public transportation, but i realized i have my SLR with me and my laptop, i find it unsafe to travel with all those gadgets with me. Then I received another call from hubby informing me that one of his messenger will pick me up using their Vios company car.

Upon riding the car i noticed a small LCD screen in front of the passenger side. It's a Nuvi Sat Nav, i was surprised and amazed because i didn't know that Sat Nav's already work in manila. I've seen a working Sat Nav before but it was in Australia. I set the "Go To" to the address of our house and it really gives the right directions and alternative route to our home. It also beeps if we're going on a wrong direction. I've seen that Sat Nav before in our house but i wasn't eager enough to use it because i thought it won't work here.

Even before hubby is already convincing me to drive, since I've already study in A1 before and we have two cars (a Toyota Altis and Rav4) plus i already have my driving licence. But i was hesitant because i have a hard time remembering routes plus the driving condition here in Manila scares me. But with this gadget I'm now eager to drive again. Maybe I'll start a refreshing course this coming March so i can go wherever and whenever i want without disturbing my hubby, because for almost five years he's been my super driver hubby, he never gets tired of driving and fetching me to the office considering that he's office is already in Las Pinas and i work in Intramuros (imagine his daily route Las Pinas-Intramuros-Las Pinas-Intramuros-Las Pinas) and i know it's a bit tiring. All i need now is courage and confidence to face the road....
