My Kids Protection from Insect Bites

Last week i noticed that my son has lots of insect bites. At 1st i thought it was mosquito bites from his new school. The next morning, another set of new bites appeared on my sons arms, legs and face. Sadly, Kimi's skin is sensitive to insect bites, A simple mosquito bite will immediately expand, develop redness and irritation, may instantly resemble to a bee bite. That evening i also felt something biting me on our own bed...right then i conclude it must be "bed bugs".

I just can't believe that we have bed bugs, since it's an SOP to our yaya's to clean, vacuum and sanitize our room everyday. Then i remembered a spray we used before for dust mite prevention and immediately purchase 4 bottles of it.

The smell is not that strong.
Unfortunately you can't find this in all supermarkets. As of now you can purchase this only at Mercury Drug and Landmark.

 I just sprayed Allercon on our Mattress and Pillows and let it stay under the sun for hours. Luckily, Kimi woke up this morning without additional bed bug bites....Thank Goodness!... 

We also bought this cute "MoskiSheild" anti mosquito patches for our kids for dengue prevention.

I took a leave again yesterday to go with hubby at MC Home Depot, Ortigas. Our main agenda is to canvass for cheaper Granite for the kitchen's counter top and Formica for the basin cabinet. If you're canvassing for home fixtures, i recommend visiting Home Depot, Ortigas Branch. The warehouse is very huge with lots of construction supplier tenants. Inside you can also find numbers of cheaper but nice home fixture's and accessories.

But before we shop for home fixtures, we 1st had our lunch at Next Door Noodles.

The rice was superb, you can actually eat the rice on its own without any side dishes. It has the right saltiness and has bits of crispy lechon macau which makes it more delightful to eat.

All in all, Next Door Noodles Ortigas has great food, affordable price and accommodating staff. 

Then we started to roam around. By chance, we entered a store of sanitary wares and luckily found the faucet we've been looking for.

Then we shop for cheaper but quality doors.

 Luckily, we pass by APEX wood products and find affordable designer quality hard wood doors.

The five hard wood doors only costs us Php 21,100, a lot cheaper compared to ready made branded doors which costs a minimum of Php 10,000 each. We bought bare doors so we can play with the colors and design, that will match our Red Themed Home.

Buying home fixtures is such a tough job..too much thinking..too many choices...tons of expenses....

At least, yesterday was a very productive day.
