Buffet 101 with Mah KAPUKS!

Before my birthday, I just decided to have an advance celebration with mah "KAPUKS"

 I can't think of any other place for a great dinner... so I just chose Buffet 101 again for the nth time.

Starbucks Hojicha Tea Jelly Frappe

(27th Day of June 2012)

I'm always craving for Milk Tea but unfortunately there's no any milk tea shops near our office.

I tried visiting Starbucks and discovered their new drink called "Hojicha" Tea Jelly Frapp. Hojicha is a blended beverage made from Japanese roasted tea mixed in with earl grey tea jelly. 

After taking a few sips, I actually didn't like it...it was too sweet for me. Just finished only half of it.

Hubby's 35th Birthday at Buffet 101

Last Tuesday, (10th Day of July 2012) we celebrated hubby's 35th birthday at Buffet 101 (as usual).

0 Degree @ Antipolo

Last Saturday (26th Day of May 2012), i was invited by my office mates to go and try 0 Degree (Ice Bar) in Antipolo. I'm really not into bar night outs since i hate cigarette smoke and loud music...but due to my curiosity i actually didn't think twice and immediately join the group. 

Honestly...i have high expectations about the bar...i thought it was really a bar made of ICE....but i was really disappointed. We didn't like the buffet food, the service, the drinks, the place...in short we didn't like everything. But we just make the most out of it by having fun photo shoots.

But we still manage to pull it off by enjoying each others company...atleast we still  had fun!

0 Degree Ice Bar is definitely Thumbs Down for me.

The Buffet Food is not satisfying. Only five simple viands and each one is really not that appetizing.

Poor Service: They only have few staff ...all our orders took so long before it was serve. Plus they always run out of glasses for drinks.

The Ice Bar is definitely not that cold...it was just an old plain room with big block of ice arrange into a sofa and table with a big blower.

We were offered to upgrade our vouchers to "Unlimited Drinks" (additional Php200) which includes cocktails, beer and iced tea. I don't really like alcoholic drinks so Iced Tea is my only option but when i asked the staff for a glass of Iced Tea...he just answered "Ubos na po e". Wow! is that what you call unlimited!. Plus the beers are already served in glasses filled with ice...you can't hardly taste the beer....

We will never go back to 0 Degree Bar and it's really not recommendable.
